Location is the warehouse/retail store where the product is located. This location will be used as fulfillment when an order enters SWIFT OMS. A company may have more than one location to store the products. This location is also a place to pack orders and pick them up for delivery.
You can customize the table by filtering data using the Filters button and choose which column to show by clicking the Columns button.
A. Add Location
To add a location, here’s the guide:
1. Go to Masters > Location, click on Create Location button.
- Active: Select Yes to enable this location or No to disable it.
- Company: Company name for this location.
- Location Code: Location code.
- Location Name: Location name.
- Address: Full address of the location.
- Country: Country of the location.
- Province: Province of the location.
- City: City of the location.
- Telephone: Phone number for this location.
- Zip Code: Zip code for this location.
- Longitude: Longitude of the location.
- Latitude: Latitude of the location.
Additional Setting:
Zone: Region of the location.
Is Warehouse: Select Yes if the location is a warehouse. Otherwise, select No.
Use in Frontend: Select Yes to use this location on the frontend website. Otherwise, select No.
Is Virtual Location: Select Yes if this location is a virtual location. Otherwise, select No.
Priority: Priority level used for priority location in order shipping.
Qty Buffer: (Quantity) Stock that will not be sold for this location. The default qty is 0.
Is Manage Stock: Choose Yes if this location has access to manage stock. Otherwise, select No.
Is Shipment Auto Complete: Choose Yes to enable auto-complete mode in order shipping. The default option is No.
Operational Time for Channel Frontend
Monday: Set operational time for channel frontend on Monday.
Tuesday: Set operational time for channel frontend on Tuesday.
Wednesday: Set operational time for channel frontend on Wednesday.
Thursday: Set operational time for channel frontend on Thursday.
Friday: Set operational time for channel frontend on Friday.
Saturday: Set operational time for channel frontend on Saturday.
Sunday: Set operational time for channel frontend on Sunday.
3. Click on Submit button to save.
Here’s the guide to editing location:
- Go to Masters > Location, open location detail by clicking the View button.
- Edit data as needed and please make sure to complete the required fields.
- Click on Submit button to save changes.
Before deleting data, please remember that this action could not be canceled or restored. Deleting a location will delete all sources for that location. And if the deleted location is the parent location, all its virtual locations will also be deleted. To delete location:
- Go to Masters > Location. Check on the first column of the data row you want to delete.
- Click Actions > Delete button. A confirmation message will be shown and choose OK to confirm.
- The updated location list will be displayed after it.
