SWIFT OMS requires Marketplace (MP) Adapter to connect to the marketplace system to retrieve and transmit data such as product data, inventory, to order shipping.
Initial Setup
The initial setup for marketplace integration is configuring API that can be found on Configurations > Marketplace Adapter menu then expanding on the API Config section and completing these required fields below:
API Client Key: API Key for MP Adapter. This value can be retrieved from Zeus squad Sirclo.
Google Project ID: ID from google project that is used for pubsub MP Adapter. This value can be retrieved from DevOps.
Service Account File: File that will be used for accessing pubsub. This file can be retrieved from DevOps.
The other configurations are optional. It can be set depending on project requirements such as enable/disable Pull Order (for fetching order), enable/disable Update Stock, etc. To save the configuration, click Submit button at the bottom of the page.
Marketplace Feature
By default, the MP Adapter feature was generated after we set up the configuration. So this menu will be used to enable or disable the existing MP Adapter features. Here is the guide:
Go to Configurations > Marketplace Feature menu.
The following are the default MP Adapter features:
To enable/disable the feature, click the checkbox on the right side of the feature name then click the Add
Feature button to save changes.
E-Commerce Channel Integration
After we set up the configuration for Marketplace (MP) Adapter, the next step is registering the marketplace (e-commerce) as a sales channel in the SWIFT OMS. To set up e-commerce channel integration:
Go to the Integration menu and select Ecommerce Channel.
Click on the Add Channel button to add a new e-commerce channel.
On the Marketplace Store, select which e-commerce you want to use for the new channel then click the Start
Integration button.
For the newly created e-commerce channel, you have completed the requirements to get capability on the selected
marketplace. The credentials and capabilities from each marketplace might be different but data such as assigned store
& location, seller store name/identity, cutoff date, etc are always required.
Click the Start Integration button to save this marketplace integration. Repeat all steps if you have multiple brands or
stores.
Connect & Disconnect Marketplace Channel
After integration, the status on the newly added marketplace channel is set to Connected by default. You can disconnect or reconnect the specific channel by clicking button.
To disconnect an active channel, click on then select Disconnect.
To reconnect the disconnected channel, click on then select Reconnect.
