User in SWIFT OMS is a person that uses or operates the system. A user uses an account to log into the system and perform activities in it. This account will also be used as a reference for recording the activity history that may appear/be needed in some menus or features.

All User

In this submenu, you can manage all user accounts including adding a new account, editing existing account details, and deleting an account.


a. Add New User 

To add new user accounts:
1. Go to User > All User menu, and click Create User button.


2. Complete required details for user data below:
  • Firstname: User’s first name.

  • Lastname: User’s last name.

  • Email: Email address that is used to login into the SWIFT OMS.

  • Phone Number: User’s phone number.

  • Password: Password that is used to login into the SWIFT OMS.

  • Location: Assigned location for this user.

  • Group: User group for this user.

  • Company (vendor only): If this user is a vendor, select a company where this user existed. Company (vendor only). Users can only view Products, Sources, Locations, and Shipments belonging to the selected company.

3. On Access Control List Setting set to Yes to enable group access control list for this user. 


   If not, select the No option then check which menu this user can have access to. 


   You can also copy the access list from a specific user group by checking the Copy from User
   Group statement and then selecting the user group.


4. On Notification, select which notification to enable for this user by setting the radio button to the Yes option. The notification includes:

  • Error Order Notification

  • Reallocation Order Notification

  • New Order Notification

  • RMA Notification

  • New User Creation


5. Click Submit button to save the new user account.


b. Edit User

Here’s the guide to editing the existing user account:

  1. Go to User > All User menu, click the View button on which user account you want to edit.
  2. Make changes to user data as needed, including reviewing the access granted in the Access Control List Settings section and also Notifications.
  3. Click Submit button to save your edits.


c. Delete User

To delete a user account:

  1. Go to User > All User menu, check which user you want to delete by clicking the box on the first column.

  2. Click the Actions button and select Delete.

  3. On the confirmation message, select OK to confirm the deletion.
